Working alongside my virtual co-op, I was able to create a flyer for a school event using the graphic design platform- Canva. The school I was working with is hosting Michael Ondaatje, an award winning novelist and poet, who will be lecturing on his work and participating in a Q&A session with the students at Woodlawn High School. Canva is an amazing technology tool students can utilize in the classroom especially through individual and/or group projects. With all of the different templates and designs Canva provides, students can express themselves through their work creatively and uniquely.
