Ways I Have Implemented Domain 1:

​

1. Unit outlines followed the UbD framework and daily lesson plans adhered to PA core standards

2. Lesson plans were completed two weeks in advance and unit outlines are planned at least a month in advance

3. Had peers and mentors look over all plans to refine quality and vigor of pedagogy or content

4. Considered IEP needs and goals of the unit when designing summative assessments. When designing formative assessments, I considered student choice and a variety of response techniques for various learning styles. 

5. Used community resources - contacted local author and sharing that interview with my students during their author research unit.
